Method
If cherries are frozen let defrost then drain on kitchen paper.
Place cherries onto a lined baking tray and place under a grill for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bubbly and darker in colour.
Place grilled cherries, honey and vanilla in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Place in fridge to cool.
Divide chilled cherry mixture into 2 glasses. Spread the mixture a little way up the sides of the glass with a spoon.
Place almond milk and ice in a high-speed blender and blend well. Pour evenly into the 2 glasses over the cherry sauce.
Serve with a thick straw and stir sauce through before drinking. Makes 2.
