So, can you introduce yourself, your name, and your role at Supernova?
Yeah. My name’s Roy. I am the director for the café and the manager. And I’ve been here about 20 years, running café business for over 15 years. This is the fifth café I’ve opened, mostly in Australia.
What other cafes did you own?
Rhythm Café in Mirangi Bay, Java Jungle Browns Bay , and 160 Hobsonville Point Café.
Can you tell us about the local community, and why you chose to have a café here?
Milford is a nice place to be in, honestly, I wanted to be here for a long time. Until now, there’s not been the chance, so I just bought Supernova.
When did you buy Supernova?
About six weeks ago.
What can someone expect when they come into Supernova?
They can expect everything. Me and my wife like a kiwi style café. So, if you come here, you’ll feel that kiwi style. We’re really traditional, our food is really like a kiwi-traditional. Cool coffee, cool service, full-time.
Why have you chosen to partner with The Alternative?
You guys have very good milk quality, and you guys have really fancy, nice jugs. It’s the best part, I love it. And you’re friendly & really helpful.
